Hudson Entertainment announced today that it is planning a gold version of it’s Bomberman Land title for the Wii and Playstation Portable(PSP) systems. All three versions of these two Bomberman titles are due to be released and sold in retail stores all across North America on January 29, 2008. In Bomberman Land players can choose between a number of mini games which, in many cases, are also playable with numerous other players in multiplayer. In the PSP and Wii versions players of Bomberman Land will discover over fifty playable min-games, forty mini games in the Nintendo DS version(which will be played using the DS’s stylus tool), and the mini-games found in the Wii version of Bomberman Land have also been designed to be used with the Wii Remote in a number of ways depending on the particular game being played.

Hudson Entertainment will also be adding a single player Story Mode to Bomberman Land in which players will explore the landscape and unravel the solution to numerous kinds of puzzles and quests to bring tranquility to Bomberman world. The multiplayer versions available on each console will be able to accommodate several players depending on the hardware in questions. The PSP and Nintendo DS versions of Bomberman Land can carry up to 4 players online and locally while, in the Wii versions, players can choose between 6 different Battle Modes which have a total of 20 maps per mode.
