Take Two Interactive announced today the opening of a new development studio, titled 2K Marin, will be charged with creating new and original content under the 2K publishing label. The new 2K Marin studio joins the worldwide collection of development studios situated in Asia, Europe, Australia, and on the North American continent. 2K Marin will also responsible for participating in creative projects with other 2K development studios all across the globe from it’s base in Novato, California. Christoph Hartmann, the President of 2K, offered the statement that Take-Two Interactive was “ We’re focused on continuing to bring new brands and cutting-edge gameplay to market” by the establishment and utilization of the “2K Marin studio”. Mr. Hartmann also stated that “"2K Marin will build upon our success in creating and leveraging AAA franchises."
